Apple killed the headphone jack today, so your old headphones are essentially garbage now. Great! To replace them, Apple is releasing new wireless earbuds that it's calling AirPods. These are the company's first truly wireless earbuds.
For people who don't want to dish out cash for a new set of buds, the company is also providing earbuds that connect over the Lightning cable in the box of every iPhone 7 or a dongle.
